Methods II: Statistics and Quantitative Methods

Welcome to the exam course for Methods II: Statistics and Quantitative Methods

After this course you will be able to answer three fundamental questions:

1. What are the methods I need to know to pass the exam?
2. Depending on the examination question, how can I identify, which method I must apply?
3. How do I apply the methods to answer the examination questions?

The content of the course is based on the principle of learning by doing. Thus, after a short introduction to the most important terms in statistics, we will continue with problem solving.

The course material will cover the following (not exhaustive):

• The binomial and normal distribution
• Simple and multiple regression
• Contingency tables
• Goodness-of-fit

We will answer these questions at the course using Excel.
